Interport Interchain Swaps make trading across different blockchain networks easy. There's no need to worry about complicated charts or technical jargon. With Interport, everything is streamlined and user-friendly.
In fact, you don't need to be a rocket scientist to trade on Interport! All the calculations are automated, making trading as simple as a spacewalk. Additionally, with Interport's best rate model and integration with multiple aggregators, you can be sure that you're getting the best possible price for your trades.
Preparing
Before you can trade, you will need a non-custodial wallet like MetaMask or any other with WalletConnect support. You will also need to have native coins on the destination chain to cover gas fees.
Trading with Interchain swaps
Go to the exchange page.
Connect your wallet by clicking "Connect Wallet" in the top right-hand corner.
Choose the source chain you want to trade from the dropdown menu.
Choose the token you want to trade from the dropdown menu. If you can't find your token in the list, you can check the Other Tokens List or simply paste the Token contract address into the search field.
Repeat the same for selecting the target chain and token below.
Enter the amount of assets you want to swap in the "From" field. You can always check your available balance in the right corner of the swap menu. Interport will find the best route for your swap with the best price and minimum gas fees.
You can also check the other possible aggregators and routes for your swap by clicking the arrow button or choose Faster or Cheaper routing for some networks.
After checking your results, press the "Approve" and “Swap” button. The Interport could ask you to change the network in case your wallet is not in the source chain.
Double-check all the parameters, Accept New Price if requested, and Confirm Swap in your wallet.
Congratulations! Your transaction is on the way. You can always track its status using the Interport Explorer.
Transaction Fees
Before you start trading on Interport, it's important to ensure that you have enough native coins to cover the transaction fees. While Interport's smart contracts conveniently combine all the fees into one transaction, so it's worth noting that these fees may be higher than what you're used to with single-chain swaps. Keep this in mind as you prepare to make trades on the platform.
My transaction failed, what's the issue?
When using Interport, a DeFi application that interacts with your wallet to process on-chain transactions for swapping, it's worth considering that there are a few potential reasons why your transaction may fail.
There are a few reasons why transactions may fail which do not depend on us, such as blockchain errors, low slippage, gas limitations, etc. However, with Interport, you can be sure that your assets are safe.
